Professional agent for old electromechanical equipment import
In order to monitor the importing of specified free-to-import electromechanical equipment, the Ministry of Commerce is responsible for the management of import permit , and the preparation and release of the Catalogue of Electromechanical Equipment with Import Permit in conjunction with the General Administration of Customs. All local Electromechanical Equipment Import/Export Offices and relevant Electromechanical Equipment Import/Export department of the State Council (hereinafter referred to as local and departmental electromechanical equipment office) are responsible for the management of the import permit.
To import the electromechanical equipment on Catalogue of Electromechanical Equipment with Import Permit, the import company shall apply for Import Permit from the Ministry of Commerce or its authorized institutions before the customs formalities.
The electromechanical equipment listed in the Catalogue of Electromechanical Equipment with Import Permit, are the key used electromechanical equipment and electromechanical equipment by local and departmental electromechanical equipment offices; which can also be divided into bidding products and free bidding products.

On March 17th of 2017, the AQSIQ published the Revision of the State Administration of Quality Supervision Inspection and Quarantine to the Measures for Inspection and Supervision of Imported Old Electromechanical equipment (the 187th decree of the general administration, 2017) and adds the article: AQSIQ does not designate the inspection institutions to engage in the inspection of imported old electromechanical equipment before shipment, and the new regulations come into effect on April 1st , 2017.
